Siena is the medieval city where our family and our tradition are born. Rich in history and art, there are numerous stately buildings, ancient churches and museums.
Dowtown, inside the medieval walls, the city is divided into 17 districts, called “Contrade”. Each of the 17 districts has its own museum, inside which the “Drappelloni” Large canvas painted by Sienese and non-Sienese artists are on dispaly. It’s important to know how valuable these paitung are for the “Contrade” any and each of them represent one palio winning from the district. You can visit some of these sites the next time you come to visit us: you can’t miss: the Santa Maria della Scala museum complex, the Palazzo Pubblico with the civic museum, the museum of the Metropolitan Opera. The Chigiana Academy attracts musicians from all over the world every year.
The ancient sources where freezing water still flows in the height of summer, squares and gardens and people with deep-rooted traditions that create social fabric and pride in belonging. Our shop is within walking distance of one of the most beautiful and representative squares in the world, Piazza del Campo. The Palio di Siena is run twice a year in this splendid square shaped like a shell.
